Exploring effective leadership frameworks has become a key facet of contemporary organizational life.  In order to continually expand and promote learning in this area, the Leadership Development Institute at Rutgers University offers leadership education for students, as well as resources and support for the work of academic and administrative leaders in higher education.    

Student Leadership Development Program offers Rutgers undergraduate courses, experiential activities, a Leadership Forum, and a 15-credit formalized certificate in leadership.

Academic Leadership Programs support the work of deans, department chairs and directors, and faculty through a web-site, orientation sessions and materials for new chairs, topical programs, departmental workshops and consulting, and an array of leadership development opportunities.

Administrative Leadership Programs support the work of division and department heads through topical programs, departmental workshops and consulting, and an array of leadership development opportunities.
