As emerging leaders, students may also wish to work with organizations on collaborative endeavors related to leadership research or to leadership development. These collaborative efforts may take the form of research collaborations among students, a faculty member, and an organization; they may also be paid internships, where an organization sponsors a student to work 10 hours per week during fall or spring semester in their organization.
Both research collaborations and paid internships are designed to give students "hands-on" research, development, and/or educational experience.
